Porcelain Veneers · Exton, PA

Porcelain Veneers in Exton, PA. See Your New Smile Before We Begin.

Veneers are thin, custom porcelain shells that cover chips, stains, gaps and uneven teeth. At Whiteland Dental we use 3D scans and facial photography with Digital Smile Design, so your veneers suit your face, not a template, and you can preview the result before any tooth is touched.

Who are veneers right for?

Veneers are ideal if you want to fix several cosmetic concerns at once:

  • Stains that whitening can't remove
  • Chipped, worn or uneven edges
  • Small gaps between front teeth
  • Teeth that look too short or slightly crooked

If your bite needs more than cosmetic change, we may suggest Invisalign first. Straighter teeth often need fewer veneers and less preparation.

Facially guided smile design

Great veneers start with your face: lip line, facial midline, skin tone and the way you smile. Our Digital Smile Design workflow combines 3D intraoral scans with photographs to plan tooth shape, length and shade. You see a digital mock-up, and often a trial smile, before final veneers are made.

Veneers vs. bonding vs. crowns

Bonding repairs a single chip or gap in one visit and costs less. Porcelain veneers last longer, resist stains and give the most lifelike result for a whole smile makeover. Crowns are used when a tooth is weak or heavily filled. Many of our crowns are milled the same day with CEREC. We'll explain which fits each tooth.

Caring for your veneers

Brush and floss as usual, keep your regular cleanings, and wear a night guard if you grind. With good care, porcelain veneers can last well over a decade.

Frequently Asked Questions

Common Questions

Do veneers ruin your natural teeth?+

Modern veneers need very little preparation, often less than a millimeter of enamel. Because some enamel is reshaped, veneers are considered a permanent choice, and we'll discuss that openly.

How long do porcelain veneers last?+

With good home care, regular checkups and a night guard if you grind, porcelain veneers commonly last 10–15 years or more.

Does insurance cover veneers?+

Veneers are usually considered cosmetic, so most plans don't cover them. Flexible monthly financing is available, and we give you a written estimate up front.

Can I whiten my teeth before veneers?+

Yes, and we recommend it. Whitening first lets us match your veneers to a brighter natural shade.
